The 1st Forum Anthropocene (Nature-Innovation-Responsibility) was held from June 21 to 23 2018 at the Kaiser Franz Josefs-Höhe, Nationalpark Hohe Tauern.

"Das Forum Anthropozän geht interdisziplinär der Frage nach, wie sich Menschen wieder verstärkt als Einheit mit der Natur verstehen und erleben können und wie Innovation eine nachhaltige Entwicklung fördern kann".

It was hosted by ProMÖLLTAL, the Institute for Innovation, and the Universitäts.club/Wissenschaftsverein Kärnten/Carinthia.

Michael Wagreich held a presentation on the geoscientific background of the term Anthropocene, and the anthropogenic traces in the changing nature, followed by a panel discussion.
