Research Interests:

  • Anthropocene definition and markers, e.g. Pu-isotopes, microplastic, geochemistry
  • Sediment Generation and Quantitative Provenance Analysis of modern sediments
  • Modelling of compositional data (geostatistics), reconstruction of sedimentary processes and quantification of erosion and external forcing controls
  • Environmental Signals and External Forcing Controls (tectonics, climate, lithology) in transient landscapes
  • GIS: geomorphological and hydrological analysis, integration in web applications (WebGIS)

Master Thesis: “External forcing controls on erosion rates of the Earth’s highest coastal range - the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (Colombia)” (2020; Supervisors: Dr. Luca Caracciolo, Prof. Dr. Harald Stollhofen; Friedrich-Alexander-University, Germany)

Bachelor Thesis: “Composition and Provenance of the Tsondab Sandstone, Namib Desert (Namibia)” (2017; Supervisors: Prof. Dr. Harald Stollhofen, Dr. Luca Caracciolo; Friedrich-Alexander-University, Germany)
