Research interests and work in progress:

  • Mechanics and chemomechanics of porous media
  • Stress-induced seismic time-lapse phenomena around depleting reservoirs
  • Formation of bending joints in multi-layer sequences
  • Modelling of structures caused by (salt) substratum mobility (SaltTecDEM)

Since 1996: Lecturer and Honorary Professor of Geology, University of Salzburg, Austria.
